I found that the piece that presses against the chest to be too pressing and uncomfortable. The chin rest feels soft but after a while it irritated my chin. I guess it just wasn't right for me.

I have sent 3 emails to this company. They finally replied to the second email. I told them that I like the design, but if you are marketing to an ALS patient who has been losing muscle, it is hard to connect the straps behind my neck. Also, the chin strap is not very comfortable for any length of time. I asked them if I can just get longer extensions and a softer pad for my chin. They said that they would not accept a return if I wore it. How do I know if I like it or not without trying it on? I told them that they went cheap on the device. I never said that I wanted to return it, just help me out. I would not recommend this device based on this design & the customer service terms. Jim Lucchesi

I have been suffering from cervical degenerative disc disease and have had probems with my neck for years, resulting in muscle spasms. I have tried different neck braces with varying degrees of relief, but they are often uncomfortable, hot and restricting. This is by far the best neck brace I've tried. If you are looking for total immobilization, this is not what you want. I can still turn my head from side to side and look up, but this prevents me from leaning my head forward. When wearing this I'm forced to hinge from my hips instead of curving my neck. Great invention and amazing product.
