    Halipax ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://halipax.com) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

    1. GENERAL

    Halipax prides itself on presenting clear delivery expectations by providing tracking for every item ordered by our customers.

    Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time to time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at the time of purchase.

    In such cases, orders will be shipped separately, so our customers will receive multiple tracking numbers in their email.

    When our customers are provided these tracking numbers but fail to receive their order, claims must be made with our customer service department within the 14-day period to rectify the situation.

    4. DELIVERY TERMS

    4.1 Domestic Transit Time

    Generally, domestic shipments are in transit for 3 - 7 days.

    Halipax is not responsible for any delays in shipments due to flight problems, weather, customs, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

    In most cases products are delivered to the destination address. However, in some countries, you might be required to personally pick up the purchased items from local authorities.

    4.2 International Transit time

    Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 7 - 15 days.

    This varies greatly depending on the location, courier, customs procedures, and other factors beyond our control.

    Halipax is not responsible for any delays in shipments due to flight problems, weather, customs, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

    In most cases products are delivered to the destination address. However, in some countries, you might be required to personally pick up the purchased items from local authorities.

    4.3 Dispatch Time

    Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours of payment of the order. 
    All preorder items are shipped and delivered within 25 - 30 days after placing an order.

    Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed.

    In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

    4.4 Change Of Delivery Address

    For a change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

    4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

    Halipax will not ship to P.O. box addresses. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.

    4.6 Military Address Shipping

    We are able to ship to military addresses using USPS. We are unable to offer this service using courier services.

    4.7 Items Out Of Stock

    If an item is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.

    4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

    If the delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation. 

    5. DUTIES & TAXES

    5.1 Sales Tax

    Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website

    5.2 Import Duties & Taxes

    Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. 

    This varies from country to country, and Halipax encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

    These funds are neither paid to Halipax nor are they set by Halipax rather they are paid to and set by your home country's government as per import/export regulations.

    International customers are responsible for any government-imposed customs, taxes, and levies for the relevant product purchase.

    Halipax does not refund any fees or costs for any international order confiscated by customs or another government agency.

    We do our best to label all boxes and customs forms with the text "Medical Supplies", which are usually duty-free. However, customs officers, who determine which Medical Supplies are duty-free and which are not, have full authority to charge you, the buyer, for the customs duty and taxes.

    Due to the complex and ever-changing customs policies, which vary widely from country to country, we cannot guarantee that your country permits the importation of the items you ordered.

    Therefore, it is important that you first become familiar with your country’s customs laws and contact your local customs office or tax authority for information specific to the products before placing an order with Halipax. 

    Packages are marked with the value of the item as paid by the customer in legal accordance with international postal regulations.

    We do not mark packages as a gift.

    To falsify the amounts paid or the contents of the package on customs forms could lead to hefty fines that our business would not be able to handle.

    We absolutely love what we do and will not engage in any practices that would jeopardize our ability to continue doing what we love.

    5.3 Refusing to Pay Duties

    If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be abandoned, destroyed, or returned to the shipper at the customer's expense and there will be no refund issued.

    If you're still unsure on whether you'll be subject to customs fees, we'd recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order. 

    6. CANCELLATION

    Customers can cancel their orders within 4 hours after placing an order if they change their mind for any reason.

    If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

    7. LOST PACKAGE

    halipax.com uses third-party logistics and is not responsible for lost or stolen goods once they are shipped.

    halipax.com  will not honor any claims for lost or stolen items once they are shipped and have been confirmed: "delivered". 

    8. TRACKING NOTIFICATION

    Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.
